Frequently Asked Questions

After signing up, you'll be guided through onboarding. Search for your neighborhood by address or community name — if it exists, tap to join instantly. If your neighborhood isn't listed yet, you can create it and invite your neighbors.
Go to the Account tab, then tap Change Community. You can search for a new neighborhood and switch at any time. Note that switching communities will move your profile to the new community's feed.
Open the Marketplace tab and tap the + button to create a new listing. Choose between Goods (items for sale) or Services (things you offer). Add photos, a title, description, and price — your listing will be visible to your community right away.
First, check your spam or junk folder — the email may have been filtered. If it's not there, wait 30–60 seconds and tap Resend Code on the login screen. Still no luck? Email us at hello@homis.app and we'll help you get in.
Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on any listing, post, or user profile to find the Report option. For urgent concerns — harassment, fraud, or safety issues — contact us directly at hello@homis.app with details and we'll act promptly.
Try these steps in order: (1) Close and reopen the app. (2) Check your internet connection. (3) Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. (4) Restart your phone. If the issue persists, email us at hello@homis.app with a description of what's happening and your device model.

How to Delete Your Account

Open the app and go to the Account tab (bottom right).

Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.

Scroll to the bottom of the settings screen.

Tap "Delete Account".

Confirm your decision in the prompt that appears.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data — including your profile, listings, and messages — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
